I have come across a new hosting solution that is miles ahead in the hosting game... To all you guys that I have been hosting I will be moving your sites over to the new server sometime this month... A move like this will take time and there may be some bugs to work out....

I am unemployed for the moment but am hoping to get a decent job in a computer field and am going to set up a new site for myself on the new server posting my resume and stuff....(Such as it is)

I will email each of ya when I'm working on moving you over.... If you are in control of your domain you will need to change the nameservers to point to the new server.. If not I own your domain I will change your nameservers for you...

Remember donations accepted as I am unemployed and this new hosting solution is a little higher than I am currently paying.... But with this new technology it is guaranteed 100% uptime and very fast server speeds as the big boys like Google and amazon are using the same technology....

Hollywood's 70's Awakening

The wonderful 70's.... Not much on music.. With a few exceptions like Led Zeppelin. I don't really dig much 70's music.... I mean it's okay but how can the 60's be beaten.. Musically anyways.

However Hollywood changed with many new young director/ artists. That change the film industry completely... So the 70's was certainly a good time for movie goers.... And of course they are now all available to enjoy on DVD..... Thought provoking stuff...

Free Internet Stuff

Always looking for good free stuff and bargains and tools that I can get in the internet:
Here is a list of things I have downloaded and would recommend:

AVG Anti Virus - I never use the paid stuff that comes with a new box... I uninstall that expensive stuff and use this free one...And keep it updated regularly

Open DNS - Makes your network more secure and faster....And tells you if your on a "phishin" site... It also "guesses at misspelled URL's. With absolutely nothing to install

Spyware Blaster - Recent reviews of spyware remover tools have been mixed at best. This free program zaps spyware before it gets installed on your system

Google Tools- These guys are always coming up with cool free stuff.. I use blogger, Picasa , IGoogle and Web Accelerator. And I plan on looking for more...

I also recently found a shopping search engine that works very well.

And of course the NING network which hosts this site totally free.... Very stable with tons of drive space and bandwidth....

I'm gonna be trying some other stuff now that I am in the Geek out mode... Ya dig?

Time Warp

My how time flies....
It feels like the days are flying by now that I'm outta a job....Strange...
Everything is strange in unemployed world.... And still trying to decide which direction I wanna go it ya dig?

I know I have to take a cut in pay...And that's OK....But doing something I would enjoy doing is very appealing.... Still thinking about it ... Ya dig...

Right now I'm upgrading my computers....More RAM...
It's gotta go faster ya dig?

Holy Week

As you know I have become a full card carrying Lutheran.... I know, my critics may be skeptical of their "liberal" views.... Of course I am a liberal Christian anyways and certainly a democrat...

I have learned much from entering into this more traditional world of the church... Meeting some really good people and am making progress in my walk with God...That's what it's all about ain't it? Check it out as this will be the most special easter season I think I have encountered

Strange Police in Robertsdale AL

We took a trip down to Orange Beach AL... Next to gulf shores... It was a 16 hour drive and we arrived in Robertsdale about 3 AM. Then - I got pulled over....Here is the discussion we had:

How ya doin?

Handed him my license and insurance...

That's funny.... I have seen them on every highway I ever drove on...Didn't you see me flash my lights at you? To get in the other lane?
Yeah.... I saw you flashing your lights but didn't realize you were police.

I pulled you over for improper lane usage which is against the law in the state of Alabama. Now where you going again?

Unexplained troubles....

Who is at fault when bad things happen....Why do they happen? Why does somebody die in a violent car crash instead of slipping away into heaven like Grandma does?

Jesus healed the blind man in this story. Look in the right place...Towards God... Not away... Don't wonder that the "big deal" is like job and his friends did.... Just trust god and walk forward one day at a time.... Ya dig?
